Background: Workplace violence against nurses is a global concern that negatively impacts their professional lives, reducing productivity and quality of care....Results: The study included 16 nurses (7 men and 9 women) working in four hospitals across two urban areas in Iran. The primary strategy identified was "active endurance," comprising two main categories: "endurance reactions" and "seeking support."...Firstly nurses through effective communication, delivering appropriate care, self-care and anger management, try to manage violent situations. When circumstances are beyond their control, nurses attempt to obtain support from other members of the organization....This approach represents an active coping mechanism, wherein nurses neither passively tolerate violence nor react aggressively. Instead, they adopt strategies to manage and mitigate workplace violence....The findings of this study can inform interventions aimed at empowering nurses to effectively handle workplace violence and improve its management.

Understanding whether nurses prioritize the biological or psychological dimensions of pain is crucial, as their pain beliefs can directly influence their ethical attitudes and the quality of patient-centered care....Methods: The study included 194 nurses working at a state hospital in Türkiye between April and May 2024. Data collection tools consisted of the "Introductory Information Form," the "Pain Beliefs Scale," and the "Ethical Attitudes in Pain Management Scale."...These targeted trainings can help nurses adopt a more patient-centered and empathetic approach, ensuring that ethical principles such as autonomy and dignity are upheld in pain management.

EMS nurses follow a structured process involving clinical history, physical examination, and final assessment, as guided by regional protocols. However, little is known about EMS nurses' adherence to these guidelines....Data were analyzed to compare adherence to guidelines between EMS nurses with and without specialized education. Results: A total of 600 cases were reviewed....EMS nurses with specialized education were more likely to administer pain relief, perform abdominal palpation, and measure blood glucose....The findings suggest that a higher level of education among EMS nurses may improve compliance with assessment and treatment protocols.
