Studies have demonstrated that exosomes, as signaling mediators between tumor cells and their microenvironment, play crucial roles in tumor cell migration and invasion....S100A4, a known metastasis-associated protein, has been identified as a key factor in promoting cancer cell migration and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)....The migration and invasion capabilities of these cells were assessed using wound healing and Transwell assays....Moreover, exosomes derived from S100A4^H cells significantly enhanced the migration and invasion of co-cultured HCC cells. Mechanistically, S100A4 overexpression significantly downregulated E-cadherin expression while upregulating Twist1, N-cadherin, and Vimentin levels.

In vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to determine the role of miR-196b-5p in promoting tumor migration and metastasis. The dual-luciferase reporter assay, RT-PCR analysis, and Western blot analysis confirmed that miR-196b-5p targets HOXC8 in prostate cancer....Results: By analyzing the expression differences of miRNAs in the exosomes secreted by CAFs before and after castration, along with relevant data from databases, we found that miR-196b-5p is highly secreted by CAFs after castration. miR-196b-5p promotes the migration and metastasis

Methods: Western blotting of epithelial and mesenchymal markers, cell migration and colony formation assays were performed to evaluate the EGF-stimulated EMT and laminin-induced MET in vitro....Silencing of integrin-β4 inhibited cell migration and clonogenicity in vitro, reduced clonal expansion of tumor cell clusters in zebrafishes, and eliminated distant metastatic colonization in mice. STIM1 Ca2+ signaling modulated the redistribution of integrin-β4 in migrating NPC cells.

Results: Bergenin demonstrated potent anti-HCC activity through multiple mechanisms: (1) dose-dependently inhibiting cell proliferation and colony formation; (2) inducing apoptosis via caspase-3/-9 activation; (3) suppressing migration and invasion through MMP-2/-9 downregulation;

However, kinematic analysis of fault systems highlights potential compartmentalization risks, as insufficient fault seal integrity may permit hydrocarbon migration along reactivated fault planes.

Cell migration was performed by Transwell and wound-healing assays. RNF126 target proteins were investigated via proteomic, co-immunoprecipitation and western blot methods. Additionally, we knock-downed MBNL1 expression to perform rescue experiments.

We show that mesendoderm migration and E-cadherin-dependent differential tissue interactions control distinct flow regimes in the neuroectoderm.

By introducing mutations, we further separate its catalytic capabilities toward mRNA and tRNA revealing that NSUN6 promotes breast cancer cell migration depending on mRNA m5C modification....Mechanistically, a cohort of mRNAs involved in cell migration carries high levels of NSUN6-mediated site-specific m5C modification, thus being stabilized by the preferential binding of m5C readers YBX1 and YBX3....Our findings underscore the pivotal role of m5C-modified mRNAs in promoting breast cancer cell migration and their potential for therapeutic applications. © 2025. Additionally, actin stars act as basal locks, limiting protrusive activity, and hindering cell migration and tissue disruption. Together, these findings reveal the star-shaped supracellular actin network as a pivotal biomechanical system governing epithelial layer coordination.

The vast majority of content on children pertains to climate risks; most commonly to physical health, with few references to other key risks including education, migration and violence.
