In the 16 years since the initial detection of Drosophila suzukii Matsumura in the continental United States, integrated pest management programs in susceptible crops have been disrupted, resulting in unsustainable increases in insecticide sprays....These findings provide growers and other decision-makers with improved D. suzukii detection sensitivity, likely resulting in reduced pesticide application frequency and enhanced integrated pest management programs for berry crops producers.

Eucosma giganteana (Riley) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is a specialist pest on Silphium spp. including Silphium integrifolium. This pest is currently one of the major limiting factors to the development and commercialization of S. integrifol...
Evaluation of perimeter-based attract-and-kill strategies for the invasive brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål), in apple and pear orchards in the United States [0.03%]

Management of the brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål), using attract-and-kill (AK) strategies in orchard crops has resulted in reduced pesticide inputs and the reestablishment of integrated pest management programs but also increased labor inputs and damage in pheromone-baited AK trees
Larval diapause enhances the flight capacity in postdiapause adults of beet webworm, Loxostege sticticalis (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) [0.03%]
